28 Apr Flint’s MTA bus service to return May 18
FLINT, MI—Bus service through the Mass Transportation Authority will start again on May 18.
The fixed-route bus service will operate between 6:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Passengers must wear a mask or scarf when riding the bus. If someone does not have a mask, one will be provided to them on the bus.
People will have to board the bus using the rear doors only and fairs will be waived until June 1. Passengers who are sick will not be able to ride the bus. Regional route bus services will be reinstated on June 1.
The bus authority will also start a limited rollout of Rides to Wellness services with its partner agencies. People who qualify with the state’s Department of Health and Human Services can use Rides to Wellness beginning June 1.
MTA suspended all its fixed routes and essential services on April 1.
